Q. Do I need a prescription?

A. Yes. You must provide a valid prescription completed by a physician licensed to practice medicine and issue prescriptions where you live. If your attending physician does not have Canadian license a Canadian doctor will need to review your confidential medical file in order to legally authorize your prescription in Canada. A complete package of the necessary paperwork can be downloaded from our site if you do not use our on-line ordering.


Q. How large a supply of medication may be purchased?

A. You may order only as much as your physician prescribes for you. The maximum allowed by law is a 90-day supply. Your physician can elect to allow three additional 90-day supply repeats on your prescription. We recommend requesting three refills as this covers you for one year and allow you to order refills without a need for a new prescription.


Q. Why do I have to fill out a medication history form and sign a legal disclaimer?

A. As part of our service to you, we complete a drug interaction review (DUR) to ensure that your prescription is safe to take with your other prescription and over-the-counter drugs. In order to fill your prescription written by Non-Canadian licensed physician, an independent Canadian doctor must review your file and authorize your prescription. In the event that questions arise and the Canadian doctors need to speak with your doctor, we need your permission to do so.


Q. Can a prescription from my current pharmacy outside Canada be transferred to you?

A. The Canadian legislation requires that we receive a faxed by your doctor or original copy of your prescription, so we are unable to transfer prescriptions from Non-Canadian pharmacies. However you can transfer prescriptions from any Canadian pharmacy.


Q. Are Canadian drugs made to the same quality levels as US drugs?

A. Canada sets exceptionally high pharmaceutical standards. The Canadian government employs an arduous, ongoing approval system for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. A. Canadian generic drugs fall under comparable approval and regulatory process as brand name drugs. Some Canadian manufacturers that you might recognize include Apotex, Genpharm, Novopharm and Pharma science are FDA approved.


Q. Can medications with codeine be shipped outside Canada?

A. Some codeine products are available in Canada without a prescription, but it is against Canadian law to export narcotics. Codeine is considered a narcotic. Also, it is illegal to ship controlled drugs like codeine outside Canada.


Q. Why can't you sell Valium or other similar drugs to US residents?

A. It is illegal to ship controlled substances outside Canada.


Q. How much are shipping charges and how long will I have to wait?

Q. Are there any sales taxes charged on my US prescription from Canada?

A. There is no sales tax charged on products shipped outside Canada.


Q. How do I pay for my medications?

A. We have the facility to accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, Bank wire Transfer, E-Check (pre-authorized check debit) and International Money Order. You can pay for your orders online or by fax or you can phone in your payment method.


Q. Can you bill my insurance company?

A. While we are unable to accept insurance plans from other countries due primarily to systems incompatibility, we will provide you with a receipt which can be submitted to your insurer for reimbursement.

All medications listed on our website are listed with their Drug Identification Number (DIN) similar to the NDC numbers used to identify drugs in USA, you can visit Health Canada website to verify any drug listed using its own DIN (note: Add preceding zeros on our DIN numbers to max of 8 digits)


Q. I sent you my order by fax, mail or by e-mail and I can not see it on the website – Order Status?

A. You can check the status of your order online when you place these order online (on the website), orders received by mail, e-mail or fax can be only checked by calling our customer service Reps.


Q. My Doctor does not want to fill in his License Number, do I need it for the order?

A. The license No. is not mandatory to fill your order. The Ontario Doctor authorizing the prescription requires it to expedite the process.


Q. Can I send you a photocopy of my prescription?

A. No. If you will be sending in the order by mail, then you must send us the original prescription. If you would like to fax in the paperwork, it must be faxed from the Doctor’s office, and the prescription must be on the Doctor’s office letterhead.


Q. Can I fax my prescription?

A. No. We can not accept a faxed prescription from the patient. If you would like to fax in the paperwork, it must be faxed from the Doctor’s office, and the prescription must be on the Doctor’s office letterhead. You may fill your order online or fax your paperwork and send in your original prescription(s) by mail.


Q. I ordered (x) quantity of my prescription, but you sent me a different amount, why?

A. To insure the safety of our shipments we can not send opened medication across the border. All medications must be sealed in its original container and sent to the patient in the same condition it came from the manufacture. Therefore, medication will be filled with the closest quantity carried by our pharmacy. For example, if the prescription states 90 tablets, but the bottle size is 100, then we will send 100.


Q. Drug (A) is OTC in Canada; can you send it to me without a prescription?

A. Some Drugs are OTC in Canada, but need a prescription in the US. In this case you must send a prescription to allow us to send this OTC Drug to you.
